The CDS Bralek was a Cardassian Galor-class medium cruiser in service to the Cardassian Union's Central Command in the late 24th century. In 2369, the Bralek was under the command of Gul Malyn Ocett. (CCG set: Second Edition[citation needed])

History[]

In 2369, the Bralek and another Galor-class vessel were dispatched by the Obsidian Order to the Loren system upon rumors of an advanced algorithm in the form of a four-billion-year-old genetic program. Upon entering orbit of Loren III, the Bralek encountered the USS Enterprise and the IKS Maht-H'a, who were on a similar mission.

Instead of working against each other, the three starship captains agreed to collect all the DNA samples they had together and see if it would help them in their quest. However, once the codes were deciphered, Ocett fired on the Enterprise and the Maht-H'a and set course for the Rahm-Izad system. Unfortunately, the destination given was a false one, but the Bralek did make it to Vilmor II in time to witness the completion of the program. (TNG episode: "The Chase", CCG set: Second Edition[citation needed])
