Lieutenant Carlos Florida was a male Human Starfleet officer who served in the 23rd century. He was a stout latino with a round face and black hair. (TOS novel: Best Destiny)

In the 2240s, Florida served as helmsman aboard the USS Enterprise, under Captain Robert April. April had great faith in Florida's abilities as he got the Enterprise out of several tight squeezes, including the encounter with the IKS Kut'luch in 2246. (TOS - Enterprise Logs short story: "Though Hell Should Bar the Way")
