Lieutenant Commander Christopher Hobson was a 24th century Human man.

Biography[]

Hobson had a career as a Starfleet officer, and served as Data's first officer aboard the USS Sutherland during Captain Jean-Luc Picard's blockade of the Klingon-Romulan border in the year 2368. (TNG episode: "Redemption")

In 2379, as part of a general inspection of the USS Enterprise-E, Captain Wai-Lin Go interviewed Data. She showed him a recording of him giving Hobson orders on the bridge of the Sutherland and asked him several questions about it. (ST - A Time to... novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace)
