Captain K'Temoc was a Klingon man alive in the 23rd and 24th centuries who served the Empire's Defense Force.
Biography[]
In the early 2290s, K'Temoc was named the commanding officer of the K't'inga-class battle cruiser, IKS T'Ong. The ship was ordered on a long-range tactical mission. In order to facilitate the long-range and long-duration mission, the crew were placed in cryogenic suspension.
In early 2365, K'Temoc and his crew were revived, and believed that the Empire was still at war with the United Federation of Planets and was close to attacking several key Federation systems, including the Boradas system. Intercepted by the USS Enterprise-D, K'Temoc was convinced by Worf, son of Mogh and Federation Special Emissary K'Ehleyr that the Federation and the Empire were no longer at war. (TNG episode: "The Emissary")
In 2368, K’Temoc contacted Captain Morgan Bateson of the USS Bozeman to commiserate over their similar situations, and encourage him that there was still a chance that their respective governments could resume their former hostilities. (TNG - Strange New Worlds VII short story: "Future Shock")
During the Dominion War, K'Temoc defended and held the line at Bolarus. For his actions there, K'Temoc was given a statue in the Hall of Warriors. (ST reference: The Klingon Art of War: Ancient Principles of Ruthless Honor)
