Leung was a female Human Starfleet officer in the 24th century.

She was a member of William T. Riker's Starfleet Academy class, and served as the operations officer during an Academy training mission to "save" the stranded starship USS Caspian from an asteroid field. (TNG comic: "Thin Ice")

As of 2381, Leung was serving as a security officer aboard the USS Bhutto. That year, she was part of Zelik Leybenzon's security team which attempted to infect a Borg cube with a multivector agent. However, Leung was killed by the Borg rather than being assimilated. (TNG novel: Greater Than the Sum)

It is likely the reuse of this name in the latter story was unintentional, but there is no information to preclude the two characters being one and the same.
