The Majoris Congeries was an intragalactic open cluster of twenty stars located in or near the Federation's space, in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant.
History and specifics[]
The Majoris Congeries was home to many (at least twenty) wildly diverse lifeforms and civilizations, including one which breathed methane and a winged species which inhabited the atmospheres of stars. The Hamal system was located within the bounds of the Majoris Congeries. (TOS novel: The Wounded Sky)
