Pyrimiis was a star with an associated system located within Federation space in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

Pyrimiis was the first system discovered by the Federation to have two planets sharing the same orbit, Pyrimiis I and Pyrimiis II. Both were inhabited by humanoid civilizations.

Pyrimiis III and V were uninhabited terrestrial planets. Pyrimiis IV was a gas giant.

The system was first discovered and charted on reference stardate 1/15 by the Libran-class starship USS Gemini. Captain Carlos dos Passos made first contact with natives on the first two planets.

The first two planets collided and were destroyed on reference stardate 1/29. (ST reference: Spaceflight Chronology)
