Quadra Sigma was star, a yellow class G dwarf star with an associated system. The Quadra Sigma system was located in the Vorn sector and Beta Quadrant sector block of the galaxy's Beta Quadrant. Quadra Sigma hosted four planets. In the 25th century, it was occupied by the Borg Collective. (STO - Borg Advance mission: "Khitomer Vortex")

History and specifics[]

Location[]

This system was located within the Vorn sector, one of four sectors — including the Alini, Hotep and Noro sectors - occupied by the Borg in the year 2409. The Vorn sector was located between 100 and 120 lightyears from Sol, on the far side of the Romulan Star Empire's borders. (STO - Borg Advance mission: "Task Force Operations")

History[]

In the 24th century, this system was the site of a Federation colony. In 2364, the colony on Quadra Sigma III suffered a disaster during a methane explosion. Starfleet diverted the Galaxy-class starship USS Enterprise-D to assist in disaster response. (TNG episode: "Hide and Q")

In 2409, the Borg Collective invaded the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. (STO - Tutorial mission: "Assimilation of the Innocent")

The Borg occupied four sectors on the far side of the Romulan territories. (STO - Borg Advance mission: "Task Force Operations")

Operations in the Quadra Sigma system were overseen by Donatra of the IRW Valdore. The Borg amassed a fleet in the system and placed a trio of Borg transwarp gates in Quadra Sigma III's orbit. An Allied task force of five Task Force Omega starships entered the system and engaged local vessels and space stations. Donatra arrived in the system aboard her assimilated Scimitar-class dreadnought. When her vessel was destroyed, Donatra flet in a Borg escape pod through the Khitomer Vortex. (STO - Borg Advance mission: "Khitomer Vortex")

An away team of the five commanding officers pursued Donatra through the portal, disrupting her base on Vega Colony before returning to their vessels in Quadra Sigma. (STO - Borg Advance mission: "Khitomer in Stasis")
