Thumbs Up Thursday

Each Think Outside the Box Thursday drawing could be kept. The teacher can then create and give every child a collection of their drawings in a bound book, to remind the child that they are creative, even when it is hard to be.

Think Outside the Box Thursday - Free download as PDF File (.pdf), Text File (.txt) or read online for free. The document provides 36 "Think Outside the Box" activity sheets that can be printed for students. Students are instructed to create something using the shape on the sheet and turn in their paper in any direction. On the back, they write a sentence about their creation. The goal is to engage students' creative minds in the morning.

Importance of Content: The idea of revisiting knowledge learned during the week is an essential way for students to understand the importance and relevance of what they are learning. Attention to detail and connecting prior knowledge with new knowledge maintains its presence in the student's memory.
