Our family owned operation began raising cattle over 5 decades ago, and our herd has evolved from a mostly crossbred heard in the 1980’s to a mostly Brangus herd today.

The Brangus breed was developed to utilize the superior traits of Angus and Brahman cattle. Their genetics are stabilized and registered Brangus must be 3/8 Brahman and 5/8 Angus, solid black & polled. Both sire and dam must be recorded with the International Brangus Breeders Assoc. Foundation Angus and Brahman cattle must be registered in their respective breed assoc. prior to being enrolled with the IBBA. Intermediate crosses necessary to reach the 3/8 - 5/8 % are certified by the IBBA.

Gentle Brahmans. They have a gentler temperament then their cousins the Brahman (Grey in color). The Grey Brahman are crossed with beef breeds in order to get rodeo bulls. It gives them more fire. The gentles are much easier to handle, like regular cattle.
