This may in fact be colus pusillus or Craypot Stinkhorn. I like all manner of fungi. They make excellent subjects but they do require the photographer to crawl around leaf litter, usually on a wet day. I did not mind my crawl today because I was in persuit of an unusuall subject, the red cage fungus which I have never seen growing before.
