Yes, that means every piece of wood in this parquet floor has been individually nailed down with more that one nail. Imagine doing this today... I wish we could see works like this today more frequently. Unfortunately the low aesthetics seems to rule in parquet floors today but there are some pockets of excellence still in place. Enter the Quicksand team to restore it!!

First we sanded it back to bare with the drum sander, then along came the Edger. Filling any small gaps with a mix of Berger-Seidle Pafuki and fine saw dust collected from the floor sanding process. Three coats of Berger-Seidle in a NordicWhite finish and we are DONE! Beautiful!
