The Helix Nebula (NGC 7293 or also the eye of God): Planetary nebula in the constellation Aquarius with brightness of +6.30. The apparent diameter is specified with 16.0 'x 28.0'. Photo shown here has a diagonal field of view width (FOV) of slightly more than 1 °. The whole structure with all the fine nebulae around is much greater than the usually specified diameter. Picture was stacked from 200 shots h-Alpha & 135 shots RGB with a total exposure time of 37 hrs.
