Reprint edition joining in 6 volumes the 1757 Leipzig ed. (in 2 vols.) of M. Lipen's work Bibliotheca realis iuridica--first published in 1679 and subsequently revised by F.G.Struve, G.A.Jenichen, and H.G. Francke--with the set of supplements (4 vols. and v. [5], an unfinished "Gesamtregister") by various authors/compilers (A.F. Schott, R.K. Senkenberg, L.G. Madihn) published (partly in Leipzig, the last three pts. in Wrocław) 1775-1830 with primary title "Martini Lipenii Bibliothecae realis iuridicae supplementa ac emendationes".
Includes reproductions of original title pages (except that of the "Gesamtregister").
The reprint ed. is reduced in size from the original folio format.
The bibliography, universal in scope, is organized under alphabetized captions, some indicating the legal themes discussed, some denoting the country or other administrative unit associated with the listed titles.
