LotLot Ramirez is a recurring and supporting character in Primos. She is a goth and macabre young girl who has a dark sense of humor. She is voiced by Becca Q. Co.

Background[]

LotLot is a quiet and soft-spoken young girl whose outward demeanor contrasts sharply with her underlying warmth. Her gothic and macabre personality is highlighted by her penchant for sinister smiles and occasional hissing, which adds an eerie yet intriguing aura to her presence. Despite her dark exterior, LotLot is genuinely kind-hearted and accepting of others, fully aware of the curiosity and apprehension she evokes among the primos.

Her unique personality often leaves her on the fringes of the family dynamic, as she makes little effort to connect with others. LotLot is content in her solitude, finding comfort in her own company and the mysterious world she inhabits. However, she is not averse to interaction; if convinced, she can be a loyal and engaging friend. Her reticence stems more from a deep-seated shyness and a fear of being misunderstood than from any true desire to isolate herself.

Among her cousins, LotLot feels a particular affinity for Tater, despite Tater's occasional attempts to brush her off. There's a subtle bond between them, rooted in a mutual understanding of feeling different and misunderstood. LotLot admires Tater's ambition and dreams, even if she doesn’t always express it openly. She often watches Tater's endeavors from the shadows, offering silent support and encouragement.

LotLot's relationship with her family is complex. While she doesn't actively seek out connections, she is far from indifferent. She observes her cousins with a keen eye, understanding their quirks and personalities better than they might realize.

Trivia[]

  • In the pitch bible, LotLot was referred to as HuyềnTrân or Winnie, which was then combined into Huynnie in the pitch pilot.
  • LotLot was originally supposed to be of Vietnamese descent judging by her alternate names in the concept arts and pitch-pilot, however her voice actress has since revealed Lotlot to be of Filipino descent.
    • On top of this, "LotLot" is a popular nickname in the Philippines (as it is a diminutive of the name "Charlotte").
    • Due to this, she is one of the many characters who were altered to match their voice actors, others include Scooter and Lucita.
    • Also in the pilot, her voice was much deeper and provided by Natasha Kline. Kline would later use the same voice for Gordita in the final show.
  • The spelling of her name has been inconsistent throughout the production of the final show:
    • Originally it was "Lotlot" (which is the usual correct filipino spelling) in the credits of the unedited Cookita episodes, character line-up sheet, and when her named appeared in the chat box in "Summer of Super No Entiendo 64" (Also in the same episode when her name appeared as "MS. LOTLOT" it didn't have the spaces between.)
    • Then her character poster and model sheet spelled it as "LotLot"
    • And lastly the credits of the final edited episodes spelled it as "Lot Lot".
