Place foil in a baking dish or tray. Smooth it out and raise the edges a bit to help contain the water. 

Using a thick chisel tip dry erase marker, write out some letters. Pour water on top and watch the magic of the letters lifting up and floating. 

*full disclosure- I’ve tried this with certain dry erase markers and it hasn’t worked. I have great luck with the Amazon brand thick dry erase markers*

I tried a few brands before finding one that works. We're using a ceramic soup spoon but this should also work on a metal spoon 💛 Slowly lower into the water 💚 Watch your drawing slide into the water and float! 💙 Use a pen to move the letters around to spell words 💜 Or use a spoon to scoop out the letters!
