James Nesbitt (born January 15 1965) in Ballymena, Northern Ireland) is a Northern Irish actor who plays Bofur in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit film trilogy. Nesbitt was born as William James Nesbitt to a Northern Irish family, his father was a teacher.
