The Izayoi Way Ninja Army Corp (十六夜流忍者軍団 Izayoi-ryū Ninja Gundan) are Kyuemon Shingetsu Kibaoni's group of loyal Dark Ninja (闇の忍者 Yami no Ninja) disciples. They are summoned through the use of scrolls and all utilize Izayoi Style Shuriken. In reality, though, they were the Secret Guards of the Kibaoni Army Corps whom Kyuemon had usurped for his own machinations. Four of them each possessed a Core Gear (コア歯車 Koa Haguruma) that survived their deaths and were taken by Kyuemon to complete his own mecha, Karakuri Kyuubi.
History[]
After the last of the Three Great Western Yokai, Wolf Man, was defeated in battle, Kyuemon suggested to Ariake no Kata that he should take over, and that they should fight fire with fire, introducing the Ninningers to her own special ninja clan, who were secretly elite guards for Gengetsu Kibaoni's army.

After Hayabusa, Ikkakusai, Kuroari, and Mujina were all defeated by the Ninningers, Kyuemon gathered their Core Gears and used a Shoukan no Jutsu to summon her own OtomoNin, Karakuri Kyuubi, which promptly defeated all of the rangers' mecha. TV STORY-Shinobi 31: The Runaway Ninja!
Karakuri Kyuubi itself would later be slain by Gekiatsu Dai-Oh, with Kyuemon presumed dead after the battle's climax. TV STORY-Shinobi 32: Extremely Hot Ninja! Acha! Masakage Tsugumori soon used the opportunity to summon the last of Kibaoni's elite guards, Suzumebachi, in the hopes that she would avenge her fallen comrades, but she too met her fate at the Ninninger's hands. - Each one of the Dark Ninja's names contain the Japanese word of their animal theme. This is also reflected in the kanji emblazoned on each of their Gears.
