Toru Ohira (大平 透 Ōhira Tōru) was a Japanese narrator and voice actor.
He is known as the second narrator of Super Sentai Series, who narrated the Super Sentai series beginning with episode 15 of Himitsu Sentai Gorenger and departing after Kagaku Sentai Dynaman. After narrating the Metal Hero Series from 1984 to 1989 (Except for Choujinki Metalder in 1987), he would later return to narrate Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger in 1992, and perform the voice of Emperor Bacchus Wrath in Chouriki Sentai Ohranger in 1995.
As a voice actor, he is known for Darth Vader and Homer Simpsons in the Japanese dubs of Star Wars original trilogy and The Simpsons respectively. He was also the voice of Daimaou in Hakushon Daimaou.
On April 12, 2016, Ohira died from pneumonia at the age of 86.
