The Oaks Lily has been a favorite at horse races since the 19th century. Today it’s the official cocktail of the Kentucky Oaks race, and its pink hue is an homage to the garland of pink stargazer lilies that are placed around the neck of the winning horse (hence the name “Oaks Lily!”).
