Riu Plaza New York Times Square Hotel

The location of the hotel is fantastic, just minutes away from iconic landmarks like Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, and Rockefeller Square. the staff at the hotel were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. the only drawback was the inconsistency in the breakfast hot selection temperature, which could be improved for a more enjoyable dining experience.

Exceptional: The Riu Plaza New York Times Square is surrounded by iconic sites like Central Park and Rockefeller Center. I felt like a VIP with the preferential guest card. Such a privilege to enjoy the pace of New York life, exactly what I was looking for.

The views of the New York skyline from the 30th floor were absolutely stunning. I was mesmerized by the city lights and the hustle and bustle below. It was a memorable experience to take in the city view from such a vantage point. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated the efficient pre-check-in process to store our luggage before our room was ready.

The room was smaller than expected, and the noise from the elevator shaft was a constant irritation.

Wonderful, reasonably large hotel with a small restaurant and very nice stuff. The a double room was immaculate with good view, the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Food was delicious and I have nothing but pleasant memories from this trip. I loved that the hotel was ideal and immaculately clean. Wonderful and incredible location close to an off-Broadway theater. The staff there were amiable and efficient.

The spot was just spot-on, lobby was grand with staff so polite, and the dining experience was top-notch, especially with Brenda serving up royal treatment. The maintenance work on the Jacuzzi seemed to be a bit on the rough side, but nothing to dampen the overall stellar impression. 💫

Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience! the location was superb, just a stone's throw away from Times Square and Broadway shows. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always providing great tips and suggestions. the breakfast was top-notch with a wide variety to choose from. the room, although not huge, was comfortable and well-equipped. the bar on the first floor was a great spot to unwind with some drinks at night. the service manager handled my conference room reservation with efficiency, making my stay even more pleasant.

One thing that could be improved is the design of the bathroom, particularly the glass wall that doesn't offer much privacy. Another minor downside was the water bottles not being refilled upon request.

the hotel was super clean, and the location was prime! just a few blocks from times square - with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. we had a great breakfast every morning. the staff was so friendly and always on point.

Spotless, good value hotel, the location was prime close enough to ok safe area to visit, really nice restaurants and the centre. Most of the staffs were extremely friendly. Got bright room with nice view. There was plenty of tasty meals. Don't forget to explore Manhattan district.

Ended up on a higher floor after a bumpy check-in due to miscommunication among staff, but all's well that ends well! During my business trip to New York, my director chose the Riu Plaza for our stay, and I must say it was a wonderful choice. The hotel's fitness center was well-equipped and allowed me to squeeze in a workout before my meetings. It was a great way to start my day, and I really enjoyed the convenience of having this facility right in the hotel. The fitness center definitely enhanced my stay, and I appreciated the opportunity to stay active while traveling.

We appreciated the pleasant welcome of the staff, and especially the location of the hotel, very close to Times Square. We were able to reach a lot of sites on foot (20mn from Central Park, MOMA, Rockefeller Center). The view from the rooms (bay windows) is sensational!

The room (Deluxe Queen, then Deluxe King), really small. The bathroom, which closes with a sliding door (limited privacy). The breakfast room, very busy and very noisy (it feels like a train station hall :(

Everything was fine.

From the epic local fruit finds to mouthwatering breakfast buffets, The RIU in New York served up delicious delights. Plus, the fantastic views from the 20th floor and top-notch hospitality made our stay memorable. The nearby eateries like Bubba Gump Shrimp Co and Shake Shack Theater District added a tasty touch to our food adventures.

The only minor issue was the slightly higher-than-expected parking fees.

If the staff is friendly, the facility is not my favorite NYC facility. Too much volume, sanitized, the room is cold so not friendly to my taste. The breakfast room is ultra noisy, and there queue stagnates in front of the elevators...in short a not very gentle awakening...too many people! Nice bathroom, too bad that its light wakes up those who are sleeping...the wardrobe has no shelves, only hangers...not very practical to put away your things.

I always stay here because it suits me perfectly. On my first visit, the staff helped me with local info, which I appreciated. It has everything I need: car park, 24-hour reception, restaurant, and fitness center. I'm coming back for Christmas.

I couldn’t have anything bad to say about our stay. We stayed for 2 nights and decided to check-in early. The hotel accommodated us and let us choose our room in one of the top floors. Breakfast is included and there are plenty of spaces to sit down and enjoy it. The location is amazing, just one block away from Times Square and surrounded by good restaurants, stores, and pharmacies. Even though the area is busy, you don't hear any noise. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone, solo or with family.

The absence of cribs and the design of the windows without child safety features were concerning for a family stay. issues with noise disturbance from other guests were not effectively addressed by the management.

I chose this hotel for attending a vendor expo because it provides a range of amenities essential for business travelers, including wireless Internet access, a business center, conference rooms, and dry cleaning/laundry services. The gym and meeting rooms were also convenient for staying productive during my stay.

The one service that I missed for my work was the availability of ironing boards. It would have been helpful to have ironing boards readily accessible in the rooms for quick touch-ups before business meetings.

It's smack bang next to all the lit Broadway theatres, we felt like we were right in the action! And bruh, we checked out a game at Madison Square Garden, it was wild! The hotel was super clean and the staff were totally cool too.

The only thing we'd ask for is a cooler rooftop party scene at the hotel. Like, a rooftop bar or club for us young squad to turn up would've been dope!

Good breakfast available with Top View buses close by. Fast elevators and prime location with modern, clean and nice room. Included breakfast and dinner buffet exceeded expectations.
