It’s such an awkward clay, really, but it felt really good to do it. I am thinking of making an entire mug series (or maybe a specific shape) and working on it for a few months. I’ve started with a simple design to see how it acts in the kiln and with my glazes. We’ll see how that goes. Slips are messy, they require storage space to store them and time to create them. Consider switching to a simple and straightforward white vinegar instead. I was surprised myself until I tried it and it worked like magic! You don’t need to dilute it with water, as vinegar helps clay to stick very well, and you don’t even need to use a coil to secure your walls!
