Ferrara Pan - Lemonhead two-sided candy box - 1970's

Here's one of three different Lemonhead boxes I have. This comes from the "Munktiki Collection", a large lot of consumer goods packaging saved and stored by Californian Paul Nielsen during the 1970's. Holloway's Milk Duds - candy box - 1930s 1940s - They were once caramels coated in real milk chocolate but now the caramel is coated in a confectionery coating made from cocoa and vegetable oil. Holloway's - Milk Duds - candy box - 1930's 1940's

I don't go after too many candy pieces that are pre-1950's, but there are some that I really dig, oftentimes due to them being early examples of iconic brands. This is certainly an example of that. Though I cannot be certain of the vintage of this box, I'm confident it's from the 1930's era. Though this early logo is scripted, the basic box colors remain the same that they would be for decades.
