All earrings are made of light weight 24 gauge sterling silver which is textured, shaped, filed and polished in my studio. Sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5% fine silver and 7.5% copper for strength. It is a hypoallergenic metal for most that patinas with time but finish can be restored with appropriate polish cloth. All sterling silver jewelry should not be stored in humid environment or worn in pools/hot tubs.
