Being kind to others

Showing kindness to strangers or during the heat of a moment is a challenge for all and when we blow an opportunity to be kind, we are not very proud of ourselves. World Kindness Day is celebrated on November 13th every year to highlight and promote the importance of being kind to each other, to yourself, and to the world.

Empathy is not always inherent but can be fostered in a child through teaching that child how to love and care for others. It is up to the parents to teach their children to be empathic and in turn, those children will grow to be kind and charitable adults.
