Aryo (an Indonesian name meaning hero) was one of a litter of four rare Sumatran tigers, born on 5th February 2009 in Paignton Zoo (England) to father Tenang and mother Banda. Aryo lives in Burgers Zoo with the young female Jarum, born 4th August 2008 in Krefeld Zoo (Germany).
