This "seaglass" leather choker is designed for today's minimalist kids and teens (or hippie chic adult.) It slips over your head and is adjustable to fit as a necklace or a choker. Just slide the slip knots to your desired length. Simple. Fun. A perfect gift. While the beads are often mistaken for seaglass, they are actually recycled glass made by the Krobo tribe in Ghana, Africa. They sort bottles by color, crush them to powder, then melt the powder in clay molds in an outdoor fireplace. As the newly formed bead cools, they insert a casava leaf stem to make the hole. The people of the Krobo tribe are prolific bead makers, making all their bright and colorful beads by hand. All my jewelry is made-to-order in my home studio in North Pole, Alaska. The options listed here are for 1, 3, or 7 beads. If you want your choker with a different number of beads, I can do that. Just let me know in the personalization section.
