Priscilla: Paper Dolls (Habakkuk Series Book 3) Kindle Edition

Former gold-digger Priscilla King was looking for a sugar-daddy when she met Barry King.

She never expected to fall in love--or to find her way back to her faith. Now, married to the man of her dreams, she regrets the decisions she made in her past, but she's not ashamed of the lessons she's learned. One of those lessons: Don't hurt the people you love.

Priscilla has told Barry all her secrets, and he loves her anyway, but his adult children think she's a fraud. They're determined to put an end to their father's marriage--by any means necessary.

To fight for her marriage, Priscilla must battle her own step-children. How can she keep from hurting those she loves most without losing her marriage...or herself?

After some hard run ins with people who don't like her Priscilla finds herself trying to see who tried to kill her while working to see second chances in her life and others. What a wonderful read!

I read this book as part of a book club and was pleasantly surprised to find out it was more than a romance, which isn’t usually what I grab to reach when I read. It’s also a mystery, and deals with Christianity lived out in the real world. It is part of a series, and the other books do not have to be read first, but it might have given me a better feel for some of the characters who didn’t seem as developed as well as the primary ones.

I recommend this series for good Christian fiction reading.

It was a great read. A bit of
concern and yet the encouragement of friends of faith was inspiring to me.

A great read and a bit of concern to be worrisome
But I recommend it

Priscilla is a women’s Christian fiction novel featuring the titular character and her friends and family. The only problem is one of them is trying to kill her!

Priscilla is part of a series, but it works well as a standalone.

Priscilla is a fun character. She’s middle-aged, athletic, and kind. She also has a shocking past! Her mother is a riot, and her friends are so nice. I’d like to hang out with them in real life.

I love how trust in God and forgiveness plays out in this story.

I thought Hunt relied a little too much on dialogue to tell the story (in places). I would have liked to see events unfold on the page. I did take off one star. Other than that, it was an enjoyable read.

The ending is awesome. I bawled!

I read Priscilla through Kindle Unlimited.

This book is engaging like the first two books in the series and I highly recommend. There are many life lessons in these books especially on forgiveness.

Priscilla is a really great addition to the Paper Dolls series. I loved watching Priscilla's faith and character grow throughout the story as she faced some pretty serious, sometimes life-threatening, situations. The author weaves in Christian lessons, enviable friendships, and wraps up the ending with all the feels. I recommend this book, and this series, to readers of women's fiction and Christian fiction. It's an enjoyable blend of light suspense and second chances, and of faith and forgiveness.

I like the way Priscilla shows her weakness and strength. Barry & Mable shows what life has taught them over the years. Liz & Sheild exhibit that your past doesn't define your future. Grantham displays what the love of money will make you do. Victoria showed mourning and unfinished businesses.
It addresses how, to be honest with yourself and others. Letting go and let God direct your path.
