Digi-tomes are digital literature that are uploaded onto electronic devices. Such literature can include soundtracks, continually morphing illustrations and opportunities to pull up information on character backgrounds.[1] That being said, digi-tomes are often used as history books, providing "dry facts."[2] Examples include History of the Guild Wars[3] and Alien Enigmas.[4] The Confederate Marine Corps magazine Battle Flag also made the transition to digi-tome format.[2]

It is possible that they possess similar technology to, or are one and the same as, filmbooks.[5]
