Courleciel S.A.R.L. (or simply Courleciel) was the publisher of the French official Star Wars Magazine. The company, under the direction of Patrice Girod, was based in Paris, France. Its name stemmed from "Luc Courleciel", the name under which Luke Skywalker was credited in the original French VHS of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In fall 2009, just before the release of the Star Wars Magazine 80, Courleciel closed its business[1] because of the impact of the worldwide economic crisis.[2]
