Reskell Twane was an Imperial official who served as Trioculus' predecessor as Lord Overseer of the Spice Mines of Kessel. Prior to becoming Lord Overseer, he was in the service of Jabba the Hutt. During Twane's rule, Niobi and her newborn son Trioculus were deported to Kessel and suffered from Twane's rule. After Niobi's death, Twane took pity on Trioculus and took the three-eyed mutant under his wing, sending him to school.^[2]

Following the death of Dewt Kluskine, Twane was transferred to Kluskine's position as warden while Trioculus was made Lord Overseer. Following the death of Jabba the Hutt, Twane's prisoners revolted and Twane was subsequently captured by the Rybet administrator Moruth Doole. Doole later offered Twane to Trioculus in exchange for control over the Supreme Slavelord's region of Kessel. When Trioculus refused the offer, Doole fed Twane spice grubs and froze him in carbonite amid his screams of agony.^[2]
