Tar'eelok was a Jedi Master. When Revan arrived at the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine in 3956 BBY, she was training her apprentice Garrum. As long as Garrum would not show proper respect for the weapon, Tar'eelok limited his combat training to cortosis blades, claiming that the lightsaber required knowledge he had yet to prove ready for.

Tar'eelok herself trained with and under Master Zhar Lestin.
