The father of Trace and Rafa Martez was a male individual who lived in the galaxy during the Age of the Republic. Rafa initially told Ahsoka Tano that their parents had "split," leaving them the family business,^[3] but later told her that they had been killed during the Senate hostage crisis, when a red-eyed alien, namely the bounty hunter Cad Bane, had shot down a transport during Ziro Desilijic Tiure's escape, which the pursuing Jedi stopped from crashing into a crowded platform, instead causing it to crash into the Martez family's quarters, accidentally killing both parents.^[2]
