Luke 9

Are we regretting that we have answered God's calling? We need to learn the lesson from the plowman who keeps on looking back (Luke 6:62)`.

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23 Let’s be honest… this is probably one of those things most of us wish Jesus didn’t say. We like the grace and forgiveness that he talked about. But denying ourselves, not so much. But the Luke 9:23 meaning has some POWERFUL truth for us today.
