Sight word hands on activities

Find 10 FREE sight word games and activities for your students to use during literacy centers. Many of these require very little materials to make.

We all know that students love engaging, hands on activities even when they are use them for learning, so I know they are going to love these sight word games! Whether you use them in small groups or as literacy center activities, your kindergartens students will love practicing sight words with these fun activities.

I cut some foam into 1'' squares and wrote sight words on each of them. Have your kids spread them out face down. Each student takes turns drawing a square. If they read the word correctly, they get to stack it. If they read it incorrectly, they must put it back in the pile face down. Students take turns stacking their words until their tower falls down!
