Soverommet bør være enkelt å holde ryddig (for da sover vi best), men designeren i meg trenger også at det ser lekkert ut. Am i right 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️? a woman is reaching for an item on the dresser in her bedroom with blue furniture
Christina on Instagram: "People are always surprised to hear this bench seat under the window is made up of IKEA Besta Units. It’s true, I used three BESTA units, the drawer inserts, and the drawer faces. I set them on top of a 2x4 base, screwed them down, and spaced using trim boards. I used a cleat on the back wall to help support the plywood bench seat top, and then painted the entire built in the same blue to unify the disparate pieces. The two desks on either end were mismatched desks I found on Facebook marketplace, but they look perfectly matched when painted the same. I like this set up so much for extra bedding in this room, and a few toys. If you would like screen shots of my IKEA order to try this project, you can find it in the saved highlights at the top of my bio."

3.8M views · 23K reactions | 5 IKEA hacks under $20! | By The Flipped Piece | Here's five IKEA hacks you can make to totally transform your home. The first one is this five pound IKEA trampa doormat. These doormats are great because they're completely blank and you can use some paint to create any designs you want to match your home in decor style. With this particular doormat, I'm going to be creating a checkerboard pattern and I'm doing this by measuring out equal distance squares and marking them out with a pink pen so they're noticeable and I can paint over them. I chose the color drop cloth which is my go-to neutral color and I painted away and made sure all the squares were nice and even with one another. Once dry, I took some matte clear coats, sprayed it to seal it up, and this is the final look. A really easy way to transform a five-pound doormat. The next one is this IKEA Samara basket. I use some scissors and cut a little hole in the back. Then I took my WiFi router and I fed the cables through the back. Once I covered it, it's just a great way to disguise any WiFi router and hide those ugly cables. What do you think about this one? The next hack is this twelve-pound IKEA Connar side table. It's an avocado colored metal side table so I brought it home. I built it and my plan was to make this into a little mid-century inspired side table. I used my miter saw to cut some wood dowels, laid them out, and then I used some wood glue to attach them along all the sides of the side table. I used caulk to fill in the gaps, chose my favorite brown stain to stain the wood, and this is the little mid-century inspired side table. The next hack is this IKEA Ivar shelf side. Yes, this is actually the side of a wooden shelf and it comes pre assembled like this for ten pounds in IKEA. I brought it home. I removed the stickers and the glue and I cut off the bottom bracket to make it more in the shape of a little ladder. I then used some two-part epoxy wood filler. I fill in all the inner holes and I sand it down to it look like this. Then I chose the color anchor from the silk range of paint. This is a great paint use as it's mildew resistant for a place such as a bathroom. I took some sparrow hooks. I spray painted them gold. Add these rubber stops to the bottom of it so it wouldn't slide against tiled floors and this is the final look. A really cute bathroom ladder to hang your towels on. The next hack is some IKEA vases. You'll need two pad rack vases that are a pound twenty-five each. One pump vase and one burcana dish. Bring these home and you're going to start off by removing the stickers from all the bottoms of them. I use some adhesive to glue them from bottom to bottom so they upstood like this and I did the same thing with the dish and the pomp vase to make a little higher level dish. Next, I used some Slick Stick Primer. This is a great primer to use on glass whenever you want to paint it and I primed both the vases inside and out. Then, I took some Terra clay paint. This paint is brilliant for creating texture. I mix some colors together to create the perfect shades that I wanted and then, I added some texture additive into it which is going to give it more of that ceramic look. So, once it was officially mixed together, I could dabble it all over my vases and when it dried, it gave this beautiful clay-like texture. When they were dry, I brought them over to my sideboard and decorated it with some ottomal decor and this is the final result. A really cheap and easy way to make some upscale vases. What do you guys think of these cheap and easy IKEA hacks?

Jana Donohoe Interior Designer on Instagram: "Yes way! The base cabinets are SEKTION kitchen cabinets, and the countertop and shelves were all constructed using MDF that I had cut down to size at the hardware store. Adding 1x2” trim around the shelves and leftover crown molding made the built-ins look custom as well as Benjamin Moore’s Steel Blue paint color. 🎨 .
