Mortemis is an antagonist in Kingdom Rush: Vengeance, serving as one of the villainous playable heroes. Once an incredibly powerful king with great magical ability, he would ultimately sacrifice his own humanity to learn some of the darkest magics, becoming a terrible necromancer and later joining Vez'nan's campaign of revenge.

Personality[]

It isn't known what Mortemis was like in life, only that he was both a renowned wizard and a king of an unknown nation. Ever seeking ways to continue empowering himself and mastering magics, it lead to him "refusing to die" and casting aside his humanity, becoming an immortal harbinger of death and darkness. His desire for greater power would see him ally himself with Vez'nan, and in the process unleashed his wickedness upon Linirea, calling hordes of monstrous undead to do his bidding, and even more cruelly, raising his slain enemies as his own minions to attack their allies.
