Clifford is the protagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead Deluxe TV Games.

Zombie Hunter[]
Initially Clifford is camping out in the woods; however, he is quickly surrounded by walkers and tries to escape to a near by river. Once he gets to the river, he tries to go to a near by barn to rest up. The next day, he manages to reach the highway where he meets Glenn Rhee. He goes with Glenn into Atlanta to get supplies, but is separated from Glenn in the process.
Battleground[]
At some point Clifford joins a group that resides inside the West Georgia Correctional Facility. One day, the fences go down and thus has to flee. Although he tries to look for Suzie, Mick, and Beyer, he's unable to find them and is forced to flee alone.
He eventually reaches a Big Spot and encounters a survivor called Michonne Hawthorne. Although both initially unsure of each other, they both decide to scout the place for supplies and each agree to take what they need. The pair are quickly overwhelmed with walkers and Clifford, despite his best efforts to look for her, is forced to abandon Michonne.
Shortly thereafter, he comes across the town of Woodbury and is taken in. But shortly after his arrival, one of the gates gets stuck and doesn't close thus allowing for walkers to come into the town. Clifford does his best to defend the town, rallying some of the fellow Woodburians to defend the town as well. The town's leader, Philip Blake, although grateful for what he did, attempts to kill him as he can't have anyone threaten his position of power.
Clifford quickly leaves and somehow finds his way back at the prison where a new group has laid claim to it. He meets the group's leader Rick Grimes and tells him that he used to live here. Before they are able to talk any further however, the Woodbury Army rolls up and attacks the prison. Clifford defends his home alongside Rick. After the battle, Clifford asks if he can stay, however after Rick says that he'll need to ask the rest of his group, Clifford decides to leave as he thinks it's not worth the hassle.
