The Commonwealth Train Depot is a location in Season 11 of AMC's The Walking Dead. It's a train depot located near the Commonwealth that's used as a base of operations for their supply train.

Pre-Apocalypse[]

Nothing is known about this train depot prior to the outbreak.

Post-Apocalypse[]

After the outbreak, the Commonwealth took control of this depot and began using it as a base of operations for their supply train.

Season 11[]

"What's Been Lost"[]

Lance Hornsby leads Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier to a hill overlooking the train depot. Observing the building through a pair of binoculars, Daryl reports that there's two guards taking shifts walking the perimeter. Lance tells the two that it shouldn't be hard for them to take out the guards and that while the tracks fork a few times along the way, he knows the route that the supply train takes. Lance explains that the train is a part of a plan to expand the Commonwealth's reach across the continent.

With Lance having revealed that there's a train that can lead them to their friends, Daryl and Carol give him the chance to leave on his own, planning to wait for the train to come and see where it goes. When Lance grabs a gun, Carol shoots him in the neck with an arrow. Daryl and Carol drive off, leaving Lance to die on the hillside.

"Outpost 22"[]

The next morning, Daryl and Carol watch as the train arrives at the depot with six Commonwealth soldiers guarding it. As they plan to follow it, a jeep arrives carrying Connie who is to be transported on the train as a Designation 2. As the train leaves, Daryl and Carol begin following it to Outpost 22.

"Family"[]

While on the radio with Mercer, Princess tells him that the hijacked train will be taking the liberated prisoners and Coalition soldiers to the Commonwealth train depot a little ways out from the Commonwealth itself. Agreeing to help them, Mercer directs Princess on how to sneak in to the Commonwealth once the train arrives at the depot.
