Issue 1 is the first issue of Image Comics' The Walking Dead: Small Bites, featured exclusively in the Deluxe edition of Issue 70. It was released on September 13, 2023.
Plot Synopsis[]
Carl Grimes, Ron Anderson, and Josh are playing baseball when the ball goes over Alexandria's fence. Carl goes over the wall to get the ball despite Ron and Josh's objections. Walkers begin to surround Carl as soon as he gets over the wall, but he's able to kill them all and retrieve the ball, much to Josh and Ron's amazement.
