Building on the innovative ways our marketing teams are using generative AI, our sales teams use Gemini to provide strategic recommendations, conduct account audits, and much more. Jan Skrovanek – New Business Account Manager, Global Customer Solutions

I help customers get started with Google Ads. My role involves a lot of calls and presentations and it’s crucial that I’m prepared for every engagement. I've created a personalized Sales Coach Gem in gemini.google.com by describing my role and the types of customers I work with.

In the past, I used a collection of prompts that I could reuse and tweak for each new situation. While it helped, it was a bit tedious to constantly re-enter my role and context every time. Now, when I have a meeting or a pitch coming up, I provide my Gem with some context about the customer, the objectives, and any specific concerns I have, and then I use it to brainstorm potential questions the client might ask.

Gigi Baffi – Customer Success Manager, Google Workspace

I’m in charge of driving the adoption and enablement of best practices for Gemini across organizations. One exciting aspect of my role is guiding customers on how to craft effective prompts that use Gemini's full potential to solve their business needs. Naturally, I lean on  gemini.google.com to come up with relevant industry prompts that resonate with my customers. I then export the information into a Google Doc and use Gemini to organize the results into a collection of prompts categorized by customer use cases and formatted by input and outputs.

The result is a useful resource I can provide to customers that inspires them to use Gemini more effectively. This saves time and scales support, and it helps customers get the most out of Gemini.

Ala Bughrara — New Business Account Strategist, Google Customer Solutions

Gemini helps me turn quiet leads into engaged client meetings. I prompt gemini.google.com with information about my role, a few details about the customer’s industry, and their budget. This generates account audits that provide a tailored recommendation to showcase potential opportunities.

I then take the recommendations and put them on a Google Slide and include the customer’s logo and branding to help it feel more personalized and professional.

Rory Kirwan— Senior Account Strategist, Google Customer Solutions

I help customers optimize their Google Ads campaigns. When new businesses come into my portfolio, I need to quickly grasp their unique goals. When I review a customer’s report, I use Gemini in the Sheets side panel to summarize large datasets, generate formulas, and color-code cells.

This helps me quickly identify trends and present data that's both visually appealing and easy to understand. When I am ready to share my findings with the customer, I ask Gemini to summarize the key findings and generate an email draft. This saves me time to focus on what matters most — building strong relationships and driving campaign success.
