CarX Street was released on PC a few days ago. The game is a port of a mobile game. As the name suggests, the gameplay is focused on street racing. While the title is not ideal (with mixed reviews on Steam, surely partially due to broken economy), many players would like to test the game themselves but on consoles. Is it possible? No, at least for the moment.

CarX Street - Console (Xbox, PS4, PS5) Release

As of now, we can’t play CarX Street on consoles. However, taking into consideration the recent history of the series, it is likely that it will be possible sooner or later. In the case of CarX Drift Racing Online, the game was released on mobiles in 2014, on PC in 2017, on PS4 in 2019, Xbox One in 2020 and Switch in 2021. While other titles from the series are not so widely ported, CarX Highway Racing was released on Switch this year, after its original premiere on mobiles in 2017. As we can see, developers look at other platforms with more and more interest. However, they do not port their games hastily, so there might be a year or more break before releases. So, if you want to play this title right now, you have to buy it on PC or try Android or iOS versions.

Let’s also highlight that if the game appears on consoles, it probably will not be free to play, and you will have to buy it, as in the case of PC version. Keep that in mind because change from F2P to B2P model is sometimes confusing for fans.
