It might seem that fans of Bloodborne are used to the ever-recurring topic of a potential sequel, remaster or remake, and are no longer impressed by subsequent reports. Meanwhile, a short post on the ResetEra forums proves otherwise - the words "FromSoftware is making a new PS5 exclusive" were enough to reignite the imagination of Yharnam hunting enthusiasts..

If you share this reaction, I hasten to tell you that the information is closer to a rumor than a leak. The author of the forum post is user Guaraná, who referred to the words of another ResetEra member, known as Brazil. As we can read on Reddit, some fans received the news very enthusiastically, but others doubt both the reports and their source.

It is worth mentioning that the post appeared in a thread dedicated to the movie adaptation of the game, which Sony Pictures is allegedly working on. The picture is to be produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers), and screenwriter Darren Lemke (Shazam!). In this case, the source is more reliable, because the information comes from Daniel "DanielRPK" Richtman, who is well acquainted with cinema. If reports about the movie turn out to be true, rumors of a sequel or remake of Bloodborne will make more sense.
