Blizzard presented some interesting statistics from Diablo IV. Thanks to this short overview, we learned which classes were most popular among Sanctuary devotees, as well as the number of monsters defeated by players.

In 2023, players Diablo IV:

  1. killed a total of one trillion monsters from hell;
  2. they most often chose the wizard and necromancer classes;
  3. were killed 2.4 million times in Hardcore mode;
  4. were defeated 37 million times by the Butcher.

It's been more than half a year since the release of Diablo IV, and during that time quite a lot of people have been playing the game - especially right after the debut, as there was a significant outflow of fans later on. It was so large that Blizzard decided to make the game available on Steam (although it is not impossible that the team would have done it anyway), where it was positively reviewed by 60% of users (with a total of nearly 19,000 reviews).

It is worth noting that on the horizon there is a story DLC for Diablo IV, Vessel of Hatred. It is likely to debut in the second half of the year.

Recall that Diablo IV premiered on June 6, 2023 and hit PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
