Exploring newer and newer locations makes players learn about materials that are later needed to upgrade weapons or characters. Wuthering Waves (WuWa) – Heron Wetland Explained
Before its official release, Wuthering Waves had 2 closed beta tests. Since then, some regions, locations, and even the storyline, have been completely changed. One such example is Taoyuan Vile, which was previously probably called Peach Blossom Town.
In this case, players have a reason to search for something called Heron Wetland, as this name is in description of Iris. It's unclear whether this is a location or an enemy (since there are several enemies named Heron), as nothing like this exists in the game. Or at least at this moment.
There are theories that Heron Wetland is simply a translator's error and is actually about a location or region with a different name. Especially since usually under the description of an item, there is information on where to find it. There is also a chance that such a place will simply be added to the game in the future. However, at this point there is nothing to look for.
Wuthering Waves (WuWa) – Where to Find Iris
If you are wondering where you can find Iris, which you need for the Character Ascension process, the first place to visit is Shifang Pharmacy. It is located in Jinzhou. Just head to the medicine bottle icon on the map. You can buy up to 15 Iris there every week. The cost of one is 3,000 Shell Credits.
However, if you want to get these materials for free, then visit a place called Wuthering Battlefield, which is located in the southeastern part of the map. Around this place you will notice many blue flowers, which are Irises.
