I will decompose a little bit the answer. Kids all ages SHOULD read this book and adults all ages SHOULD HAVE READ this book.

It is quite poetical and melodic, so if you read it to them, you should practice getting the best out of it. Also, if you can trigger a conversation afterward involving the bigger kids and adults, you can really get all the juice out of it.

You should see all Dr. Seuss books as a chance to educate people of all ages. He does write some funny stories, but he also teaches lessons and gives the tools to improve our and our children’s mindset.
