Odd biography of Mae Murray, supposedly done with her cooperation, and sounds like her point of view (though told in third person). Interesting evocation of the era of the teens dance craze, but a lot of delusional stuff too (she always knew best about her pictures and every man was after her). Some facts are correct, some clearly aren’t. Sad about her son, though, sounds like her life pretty much ended when he rejected her, and that’s more or less where the book ends. I guess she didn’t want to talk about what came next
