After centuries spent in suspended animation, I’m hangry. Now, a team of sexy men have been sent to hunt me down…

Let them come.

Thanks to a protective spell gone wrong, I am what the world calls a ‘siren’.

Yep, you heard me right. I’m a siren. The lost princess of Atlantis. During the horrific battle between light and darkness, as Atlantis sank beneath the waves, I was caught in some crazy magic that changed my body and put me down for a really long nap. The humans, still greedy as ever, woke me up when they stumbled on an energy source near the heart of my home.

I battled alongside my Atlantean brothers and sisters as evil spread like a plague from city to city. We fought bravely, but in the end, I lost everything.

I have nothing left to lose.

That same darkness has continued to take over the world while I slept. My mission is to cleanse the world of evil, so I need to get busy.

It is easy to find the men with blackened hearts and drag them to their watery graves beneath the sea. But it isn’t long before the disappearances are noticed, and I go from hunter to hunted.

Cleansing the world of evil takes a lot out of a siren. So, when the three good-hearted men cross my path, I’m ready to make them bad. I just need to figure out how things work with my new anatomy…

This paranormal fantasy romance features a slightly darker siren who collects her mates throughout the series. This is not the usual bubbly mermaid tale! It is full of spice, humor, and a slightly feral siren.... Oh! Let's not forget the totally ripped guys you will want to sink your fangs into! It will have a HEA… eventually.

I was excited to get into this book because the blurb made it sound like some epic thing was about to go down and even though the characters were great. Zosi's story was so rich and intriguing, I feel like this book would've worked so much better if it were not a reverse harem situation.
Here comes the why, this is my first read from this author so I'm not sure if she usually plays all her books like this but I don't think it worked well in this case. For such a small and quick read, one expects fast-paced, action, and steam, sure but a solid plot as well and this book didn't live up to its full potential, I feel. The plot became stagnant at some point because with so few pages the character had to stop each time and be intimate with 4 different characters which not only made the scenes repetitive but also made so much of the book boring. I wanted the plot I was promised with this amazing warrior and this sort of curse in the world and in actuality, most of the plot was mainly centered at the very start of the book.
It was an entertaining read with steamy scenes and a very amazing shark called Shiba, if you're interested.

So, there’s very little plot, very Very little build to relationship status(read as 0) it’s insta-love but on crack. Not only do they instantly fall in love. No conversation, no even an introduction, but they also instantly accept that she’s real, that she won’t hurt them, and then Instantly bond with her and then immediately they fuck to complete things.

It’s fun. It’s not what I was expecting and it’s not my favorite. But it’s a fun, mindless interlude to get me out of my head and I’m really enjoying the similarities it has to Stargate Atlantis’ origin stories.
With the fall, the ‘Ancients’ and their limited reach, the secrets…the explanations are sounding very similar, and my nerdy ass is over here chuckling and loving that shit.

Im gonna keep reading, mostly because of the Stargate similarities, and also because that ending promised some steam that I’d like to witness. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s not all that great of a book, but Im enjoying it and really thats all that matters so, whatever.

This was a really fun siren/mermaid RH read. Everything (romance included) moves super fast but I was fully there for the journey. Zosime is an Atlantean warrior, the last of her kind as far as she knows. As a siren herself, the lure calls her as much as much as her own call which leads to more and more unsolved deaths in the area. Four men are dispatched to uncover who or what in the water is killing so many people and eradicate the threat. Though one look is all it takes for each guy to be smitten. The book is a super quick read and ends with them in Atlantis. I can’t wait to see more of her home and hear more about what happened to everyone.

4 Enthusiastic Stars🔱Exactly what I’ve been searching for!

I have a confession to make. When I was a little girl “The Little Mermaid” was my absolute favorite movie ever! Growing up that fascination about life under the sea never left me. I have been searching and searching for books/tv shows/movies about sirens or mermaids or anything similar for a long time. I have a hard time finding anything, let alone anything entertaining. This is exactly what I’ve been searching for!

I can’t wait for the next book! The idea of an Atlantean Princess, turned Siren, in a word full of magic, is about the coolest thing I could ever imagine. Add in a harem full of sexy men and I’m hooked! Who needs Prince Eric?! I’m super excited to have found this series.

Insta love/mates

There was almost no world building in this book. By 71% the author still hadn't deigned to enlighten the readers, so I stopped reading. There was no character development, just stated characterisations. There was also no real relationship building, just insta mates and saying they love one another. This is the last book of this author's that I read since it's the third one that I rated 2 stars or lower.

3.5 rounded up

Fairly decent story line with the background events. Also, I really liked Sheba and Fynn. Aside from that, this is a good book if you are looking for insta-love, insta-lust and insta-bond tropes, it has all of those in spades. Once it fell down the actual introduction of the characters, the plot derailed and centered only on those issues, ripe with poetry and verbal promises so out of place in an hour relationship. Ah well.

Sometimes I am in the mood for those tropes, you might be too.

I liked it!! I don't usually read insta- love romances but in this story it worked somehow and it didn't bother me. It's great that Sedona Ash makes her heroines strong and independent and in this case a little savage. It was really good the whole dark adventure even if it had a cliffy that got on my nerves. The characters where well developed and i really appreciate that it didn't have errors in some expressions in greek throughout the book ( i'm Greek and when i catch mistakes in translation from my mother tongue in English and vise versa i get a little pissed , cause you must make good research before using such a complicated language like greek.)

I don't know, it read fast, held my attention enough to not quit, but just didn't resonate with me. The world building was ok for the most part, a few things I would have liked more info to get the background on the FMC. I just didn't feel a need to continue with the series, and I just didn't feel connected to the characters enough to care what happens to them. They were actually really flat, almost to the point I had to back track a few times to see whose point of view I was reading at times of the 4 guys. The part that really bothered me, the 4 original guys (humans) in the RH seemed to be under her thrall as a siren more than they really "loved" her. I also didn't feel the chemistry at all. It all just felt to forced, they are confessing they love each other after the first time with her (day/hour & sex), which just doesn't seem right. I also felt the plot had some holes and that the last few chapters just seemed to wonky, like stuff thrown at the reader to make the story work, which it actually didn't. It was definitely the deciding factor in not wanting to continue on to book 2.

This has such an intriguing premise but the execution is kinda underwhelming. I’m not personally a fan of insta-love, and not only is that present in all of the romances in this book, but the plot itself is primarily focused on establishing the romantic relationships between the FMC and MMCs—i.e., an abundance of insta-love. Additionally, I was disappointed that the badass millennia old Atlantean warrior princess FMC let the MMCs boss her around as much as she did.

My biggest issue is that the author only bothered to give a good visual description of the FMC—i.e., hair color, hair length, eye color, skin tone. I struggled to picture the MMCs in my head because I was only giving one physical feature for each of them:

➤ 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺:
Gray Eyes

➤ 𝗞𝘆𝗲:
Green Eyes

➤ 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻:
Golden Skin

➤ 𝗙𝘆𝗻𝗻:
Shoulder-Length Pale Sandy Hair

I’m 52% into book two and only just now learned that Kye has blonde hair, where as I’ve been picturing him as a brunette.

I loved this book. I wasn't sure if I would but I loved Klutz by Ashe and I like siren mythology so wanted to give it a try.

Zosime, is fierce. The guys are all interesting with different personalities, I'm really looking forward to learning more about them in the next book.

This is an insta-love book which normally isn't my thing but for some reason the troupe worked here. I find sometimes with fated mates and insta-love the character's inner monologue seems conflicted and it reads like consent isn't fully present. That wasn't the case in Ashe's writing.

The story is set up nicely for book 2 but it's not an insufferable cliffhanger.

The first book I read from this Author was super cheesy, but also really fun. This meant I was a bit excited to see if she could keep it going with this book series. After all this is a book with a Siren or umm… mermaid if you prefer that term.

For starter this book is incredibly short which equals bonus points if you are still struggling to finish your end of the year goal. The Siren is also not the friendliest if you take in to account that she’s killing men in a method that is very close to that of a vampire. The idea is that these men are also evil, which makes them far from innocent. Her guy are a bit of a blank canvas, but we know they are not evil. Unfortunately a lack of description for the men just screams bad writing.

Lack of descriptions for the men was not the only issue with this book. At times the point of view from the men was simply boring. They took turns trying to add something new, but the research is just not there. I’m not saying the inner monologue from Zosime the Siren is any better.

The one part that is descriptive in this book is the location of where the men insert their penis. Just to clarify I’m not talking about a vagina and she doesn’t have legs. Yes they also need to be in water, but this is where things get funny. The joke about men wanting to put their penis anywhere is true in this book. This is disturbing, but instead of being disgusted, I’m going to congratulate this writer on her creativity.

There are just so many negatives about this book mixed in with the positives. Don’t get me started on the spelling and grammar errors or plot issues. Yes plot issues, specially in the end. Almost everyone almost dies. They then live and separate, only to be brought back together in the end without key explanations about how.

My head hurt when it came to reviewing this book and if I recommend it. At the end of the day creativity wins out because this writer has created moments I have yet to read in other books. Yes I recommend it for fans of sirens, mermaids, reverse harems, and vampires, but it could be better.

Zosi was a siren who'd been awakened from slumber after hundreds of years following the destruction of Atlantis. She's called to punish evil-doers by something called the Lure. Unfortunately 8 dead bodies in a week tends to draw attention and a team is sent to the small town to investigate. I'm disappointed I didn't enjoy this as much as I hoped. I think a lot of my dissatisfaction had to do with the short length of the book. The pacing was too fast to really develop the MMCs properly and give them distinctive voices. I had trouble connecting with the four guys who felt too similar. The insta-love was a let down too. Immediately upon meeting one of the guys they're confessing their love and shagging. That pattern happened with the other guys too. I prefer a bit of tension and conflict with characters getting to know each other before the sex starts. The plot took too long to come together and then there's the addition of a fifth guy in the last chapter out of nowhere. It all felt too disjointed.

But I will say that Zosi is a total bad ass warrior who can kick butt and take names. I LOVE that she has a great white for a bestie. Never thought I'd want a pet shark but Sheba won me over. The battle scene with the bull-sharks was uniquely awesome. The world-building was intriguing but needed to be fleshed out more. Love the premise with the FMC being the creature with the guys being the normies. Definitely different from what I'm used to. Not sure I'll read the others though. Still deciding.

this had some great moments. i loved that the heroine is basically a mermaid, and that she as a character was very... non-human. it was different, and not like anything ive read before. my favorite part was when she saved one of the heroes from drowning. very The Little Mermaid.

why im not giving a higher rating:
the romance might have been too insta-love-y for me. the Hs fall in love with her SO FAST. i got it with the hero kye though, because there was that whole he-thought-it-was-a-dream thing, so it felt more natural that he'd just go with it.

my biggest problem with this book was probably the way the conversations and interactions between the Hs and h felt so unbelievably fake. someone makes a not very funny joke, and the characters fall apart laughing and have to collect themselves for a full TEN minutes ???? what???
they laugh at the drop of a hat, honestly, and the laughter is never really warranted.
a hero also gets so excited about something that he faints. so yeah, the characters' reactions were unnatural and took me out of the story a lot.
the characters also weren't fleshed out At All, especially the heroes. i barely know what any of the heroes look like (some of them not at all), and only kye has a personality.

i did like the mermaid concept though, so i'll be trying out some of the author's other books.

it’s good if you like fast burn

The book was actually well written despite a few minor grammatical errors here and there. I love the idea of a powerful Atlantean warrior turned siren. Zosi is a bad ass indeed and I was very intrigued by her and the way her Siren abilities worked. The men were intriguing too, my only problem is we don’t know enough about them, and really didn’t get a chance before they were all head over hills in love with one another.

This has to be one of the fastest burn romances I have ever read, literally upon meeting, these characters were throwing “I love you’s” and it wasn’t even enough to just chalk it up to some mate bonds. It was a little too unrealistic and when you have stories about sirens and the lost city of Atlantis.

You have to throw a little realism in there to make it bearable, idk that’s just how I feel. I dnf because while the story itself was intriguing, it was too fast burn for my taste. The smut was amazing but the “I love you.” upon meeting….Let’s save that for when the fmc at least knows the men’s last names, and has known them for more than 2 seconds. It was wild, but if you are into fast burn like that. This is the story for you.

Written for a Specific Audience, and that’s not me

If you enjoy instalove tales, featuring multiple men, fully laid out consent, no cheating, and very little plot, then Siren’s Hunt is for you.

The female lead, Zosie (I believe is her nickname) is a newly awakened Siren. Her goal is to answer the call of the lure and eliminate the target. Each person selected by the lure has done some kind of evil in their life. Whether it be evil for evils sake or as an act of revenge and saving others from the same fate, they’re all destined to perish.

A group of four men have been dispatched to investigate the deaths and discover Zosie, their mate, which they all instantly fall in love with. As the story progresses, she does indeed mate with all four.

Where does the case end? It really doesn’t, they all get sidetracked and then are forced to run so Zosie doesn’t get caught. Some of them nearly die, others do die, there’s a handful of spicy scenes, a shark companion, and a shootout.

It’s a decent book. And a quick read. A nice palette cleanser for those who prefer the darker side as this one doesn’t go too far.

Great book!

Such a great set up for the next book! I love how Sedona gives such great back stories so that its not just mindless plot.
Sharks, sirens, and Atlantis, oh my! 3 of my favorite things. I respect our oceanic wildlife, and love how they are brought in to the story of our dear Siren princess. Zosi is an amazing woman set on cleaning up the evil that's plagued the Earth since before Atlantis sank. She finds 4 of her mates and the fun times ensue! A great mixture of fantasy, myth, and facts about our oceans, bring about this first book in the series. Insta-love and mates that don't fight the pull is very different, as I'm used to one side of them fighting against the mating draw. Thank you, Sedona, for this wonderful introduction. Onto book 2!

This group of guys comes to investigate what is causing all of these deaths.

There’s a classic “man falls overboard and she saves him” (think Ariel saving Eric, just not PG) scene which I enjoyed. She has a pet great white shark, and several mates all in like 200 pages. The pace was well done for a short book. I’m not quite sure what caused her to “go to sleep” or even wake her up.

I was very entertained and I’m very intrigued to see where this goes. I’m curious about her powers and Atlantis.

Fantastic new book series! Love it ❤️

I really enjoyed this book . I think that Sedona Ashe is a fantastic writer. Even though this was a shorter book, it had everything that you need in a great story. Zosi is a siren and she has woken up and is hungry...she goes after bad guys to feed her hunger....the 3 hot guys come in looking for a killer what and or who is killing these people...the steam is just right and I love the world building...I can't wait to see where the story goes in book 2. Also she does awesome in the cliffhanger department. I am a weird person who loves them. Lol

A quick and slightly odd romance

I mean, I know there’s “love at first sight” but this seemed to overtake the personalities of the guys, to the point where they seemed more like puppies finding their forever home. I mean, they see our Siren/Atlantean/mermaid heroine and then bam, they’re in love, bam, they’re mated. No real character development, I didn’t really go through the journey of them falling in love, which I missed. It was nice to read, and I loved the “pet”, just wanted to go a bit deeper. Fishy sex was a bit weird, all I could imagine was the mates getting scraped by scales while they’re going at it, lol!

Okay this book was not what I expected at all! I loved it! I love that her sidekick is a huge great white named Sheba. It’s crazy that she is from Atlantis. She is killing people infected by the Lure. She is a Siren and a warrior. Also the Princess of Atlantis. I love that all the guys are nerds and when Fynn passed out because she is from Atlantis I laughed so hard. She needs to communicate better with them. But I also feel like she doesn’t know a whole lot about bonds either? Then Lokene shows up, he is an ancient she knew before Atlantis sank. And he can give her legs? This just got even more interesting!

Sedona you have done it again, I thought after phoenix down I wouldn't enjoy a book like that you had to go write this beauty.

Omg this book what can I say without giving to much away.

Sheba I need that in my life, things I could dispose of if I only had myself a sheba..

Lokene even though this was brief visit for now I really did laugh at the loving part hehe

And the main men wellllll I don't know quite who my favourite is yet but for now I love them all.

Really excited for book 2 now

Only not "DNF" because it was short.

The plot inconsistencies, the lack of character development, the "meh" quality sex, of it was meant to be porn without plot...
One of my biggest annoyances was the almost homophobic assertion and reassertion that the guys are bros. Bros who don't wanna touch each other's junk, 'cause that's gross. I dunno how they'll handle all being in the same sexual partnership with each other, in that case. And I won't find out, because I'm not interested in the follow up.

I give this book a solid 3.5, but rounded to 4 because of the personal preference of this book. I am not going to lie to you and say this was an amazing book, but it was good! I am typically not into the mer-people/water sirens that are not humanlike as well. This is why I rounded up. The story was well written and there is of course steam to this book. Be prepared for a cliff hanger! If you want a great story, siren book, full of what will happen next...give this a go. You cannot go wrong with a Sedona Ashe book!

I loved this book and how the story starts to unfold and envelope u into it. The MC Zosi is a bad ass take no prisoners type. Oh she's THE lost princess of Atlantis & THE siren. I just love where this story is going. Hmm did I mention the hot guys? No ? Well I'm kinda keeping them to myself ...Hmmm Lokene Hello!! It's well written well paced . Omg Sheba!!! How awesome is she? It's another page turner from Sedona Ashe (writer of the Klutz series) & I'm really looking forward to Sirens Throne book 2.

DNF @ 35%

I wanted to love SIREN'S HUNT so much but while it was fast paced and an easy read I never felt the chemistry between the characters. It felt more like the guys were just under her spell as a siren rather than actually wanting to be with her. Also, I didn't love that Zosime's compulsion to punish "evil" people meant that she killed a young woman who had killed her rapists and abuser. Zosime feels bad for her and makes it a meriful killing but why did the author include this. It didn't endear me to Zosime at all.

Was a bit slow, a bit too strange for my liking but I was vibing with it until the very end.

A rando new character that happens to be uber powerful+has ties to the mc+knew her before the others knew her??? Yeah, I dislike aaaall that very very much.

There was something so sweet about her harem all being human&gaining underwater abilities From her.... now we have a god thrown in the mix out of nowhere?! Hate it.

I was gonna give this a 2 cuz I love this author very much... but I'm physically unable to go higher than 1.

I usually read stories about shifters, but who doesn’t love a sexy siren story? Sedona’s writing is brilliant as always. This story has everything humor, action, romance, and most importantly 🔥🔥🔥

28% in the book and already there is a spicy scene 🔥

I love reading about Zosi’s development and understanding of the “modern day” and seeing her tumble through this new world while trying to save it at the same time and juggle multiple mates. She’s a badass!

This is a really quick and easy read. It is captivating and has several laugh out loud moments.
