I am an absolute fan of this series!!!! Hot males getting together with strong females. Hot, hot, hot interactions (if you know what I mean…🤭). Just kidding. Give it a try. I certainly will! You won’t regret it.

As I knew I would, I loved Bound by Love!
I was so sad to find out this was the last book in the Alliance Series, but I understand, it’s time to let them go (the characters). Better this way than stretching the story to boring, unlikely or plain stupid contours as I’ve happen with other series.

I think this story tries to prove everybody deserves a second chance. No matter how low yoy’ve gone, if you kept at least a little bit of your soul (even though you might think you didn’t) you can get the rest of your soul back. Love is the key. If you have someone who loves you like Saber did, if there’s someone who doesn’t give up on you, there’s a chance for your recovery and/or rehabilitation! And I think this goes for everything in life. Love is really the key! Caro and Saber’s story proves it.😍

I had so much fun with all of them! I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve felt miserable and suffered their pains and their losses…

I think I’ve read everything Brenda has written. Just can’t wait for the next installment of The Shadows Realms!

Thank you Brenda.

Intense masterpiece

Bound by Love is the tenth and final book in the Alliance series and ideally the series should be read in order. Bound by Love should definitely be read after Bound by Blood (book nine) as that was the first part of Caro and Saber’s story.

I don't even know where to begin with this review, like how do I sort through the emotional mess that I'm left with after that masterpiece?! Brenda K Davies’ subversive brilliance shines in new and unexpected ways with this masterpiece.

I have been really struggling with books lately which is completely unlike me, and to be honest I have even struggled with Brenda K Davies’ books, which is really unusual as she is my favourite author. However, Bound by Love has completely demolished my book slump. I couldn’t put this book down and I truly mean that!

Saber was - actually I think Caro describes him best: “This beautiful, broken man was stealing her heart”. While Saber is stubborn and powerful, he’s also so kind and caring. He definitely stole my heart, just like Caro.

Caro is strong, brave and the perfect person to love Saber.

We read and love books, but if we’re lucky we get a chance to read a book that not only blows us away, it also makes such an impact on our emotions and thoughts. We then know we have read something exceptional and that it will always remain in our hearts.
I've spent hours trying to put in to words how this book feels. Because that's the thing, right? Some books are fun. Some books are heartbreaking. Some books are many adjectives. But then a book like this comes along, and it FEELS like so many things. I think I experienced every emotion known to humankind in these 300+ pages. This story is one of the best.

I cried so many times during this book. Actually I think there has only ever been one other book that I have actually cried at more times than this one; out of the hundreds I’ve read. So, therefore, I would recommend you do not read it in a public place.

Bound by Love was a complete rollercoaster of emotions and I’m not just saying this, one minute I was literally sobbing and the next I was smiling through my tears with my heart full of hope and happiness.

Saber and Caro’s story was an exceptional and perfect ending to this beloved series. The only thing I would have liked was to see some of the other characters’ happily every afters (especially Ronan and Kadence).

In the author’s note, Davies comments on how sad it is to say goodbye to these characters and the series; while I’ve not spent as long as Davies with the characters or had as deep as a connection; I too am devastated to say goodbye. This series has gotten me through some really difficult times over the last six years. I can still remember reading Eternally Bound for the first time in 2017 and how I instantly fell in love with Kadence and Ronan. The Alliance series has truly been the greatest gift for me and I will deeply miss them, but I look forward to future series by Davies.

When the audiobook has been released, I will most definitely be devouring that as well. *Update* I have now listened to the audiobook and Meg Price does an amazing job! She is one of those narrators that set the bar so high hardly anyone else can compare. There was not one thing I didn’t love and I am very picky about audiobooks.

In some ways, I’ve waited years to read a book this good. In fact I’m a bit apprehensive to see if any other book could ever measure up to Bound by Love in the future.

So grab your tissues, ENJOY and hold on because this one like I said … it’s a rollercoaster.

*Spoiler* This book does mention triggering content such as violence, torture, death (also mentions childrens’ death, but is not on page).

I need to start by saying: My LORD, Davies! Goodness you took us on a trip with this one. Break out the tissues because you will need them!

I can’t say enough good things about not only this book, but the whole series. This was the ending not only the readers deserved but the characters as well. It’s going to be hard saying goodbye to these beloved characters, but this HEA should have you all agreeing this was the right time to end it.

I guess we should get into this story now. Wow. I absolutely loved every moment. I finished this one in a day and couldn’t put it down. Literally. I was cooking dinner and was stirring pasta with my right hand while holding my kindle in the left. I almost burned the meatballs! That’s how enthralled I was in this book.

Not only did I ball my eyes out, but my jaw practically lived on the floor. There were so many twists I did not see coming. My family kept looking at me like I was crazy when I would gasp, mumble “no way” and stare bug-eyed at the page.

I would highly recommend rereading Bound By Blood (book 9 of the series) first since this one picks up right where we left off with Caro and Saber. These two were simply adorable. I wasn’t sure if Saber could 100% redeem himself, but he did. The things he does for Caro to show his love in this book…yeah, he will win you over.

I loved how Davies included her past characters perspectives in this novel. We get back inside the minds of Willow, Logan, Asher, Brie, Ronan, and all our other favorites from this series. Seeing them all come together to fight against those stinkin demons really made this book come together.

You will be a nervous wreck during the middle portion of this novel. I couldn’t handle it at times but it is well worth it. If you know Davies, you know she will make this adventure worth the time.

I usually do not do this, but I have no cons for this book. I was happy with how everything turned out. I will miss these characters and return to this series frequently.

For those who are worried about the ending, no need. *Spoiler* The characters get their HEA. It’s iffy there for a bit, but trust in your author to keep her characters safe. She may rough them up a bit, but it will all be good in the end.

Pick up this book! You need it in your life! Then treasure this story and return to it when real life becomes too complicated and only the Alliance boys can lift your spirits.

5 stars? This book deserves 10 stars easily!

What an epic ending

I hate that this is the last book in an amazing series and spin-off of 22 books. But if you’re going to end it, this was the way to do it. Go out with a bang!

Amazing! Simply amazing! I only became entranced with these characters a little over a year ago. After going through the Awakening series and getting to know the Byrne family, I was anxious to move in to The Alliance. I have never regretted a single one of these books.

Okay, that’s a lie. I cried serious crocodile tears when Doug was killed. Like seriously… he never deserved to go out like that. But, I digress.

At the end of Bound By Blood, we saw Saber have a vision. Apparently, his sister Brie shared the exact same vision. Weird right? But because of his vision, they knew there was a battle ahead. I knew when I finished that book that this series was going to come to a close.

So, knowing that, I reluctantly grabbed this book today (release day), ignored most of my responsibilities for the day, and dove in head first. Did I cry? HELL YES! Several times. I’m not ashamed to admit that. Was it worth it? DEFINITELY!!

The fight scenes were epic! The suspense was edge-of-your-seat amazing! The love (because yes, even though Saber thinks he incapable, it’s totally there) was perfect.

Then I cried some more.

And a little more.

And then A LOT more.

But honestly, a perfect ending to an amazing series. I’ll definitely be doing a complete 22 book re-read soon.

I am sad this series is over…
But the last couple never really evoked anything for me.. so when this book has them walking the city and both deep in mental angst, I was a bit bored…
Then they are captured, tortured before the rest of Alliance finds them ..
Suddenly after a whirlwind of fighting, featuring a chapter per couple, it culminates in a massive cave-in..
No one is left behind but Caro is the last person found and everyone fears she has died, because Saber is out of control..
The end of book was quite harrowing but did end well.

This is the final book in the alliance series and it does not disappoint

The battle is finally here with the demons savages hunters vampires it’s gonna take a lot to defeat the hideous demons that are wrecking the world when Brie and Sabor share the same vision showing what’s gonna happen to the world if the demons succeed in destroying everything and continuing wrecking havoc on humans and vampires so they know it’s time to face them but when a mission goes wrong and 2 people are captured from the alliance they know ready or not they have to face the demons or risk loosing 2 of their fighters but it’s not gonna be easy defeating the savages and demons so when they go down in the sewer drains to rescue Sabor and his mate the demons try to run but once they get them where they want them the alliance members realize what they have to do and don’t know if they’ll make it out alive. This book had me reading late into the night to see what happens I could not put it down even knowing I had to get up early for work. Will all the alliance members and their mates survive the battle or will some be lost read this book to fine out. This is a series so make sure to read book 1 Eternally bound if you haven’t yet you will not be disappointed. Brenda K Davies is an amazing author and really knows how to tell a story!

So sad it’s over but man what a thrilling ride!

Wow. I cannot believe this is the end. I have loved every single one of these books in The Alliance series and the Vampire Awakening series. I have been reading about this world for 10 years. It has been a thrilling, exciting, intriguing, entertaining, emotional journey. They are all such good stories!
I loved Saber. I loved who he was and what he had overcome. Even if he was an alpha a-hole as Caro called him on a few occasions. He is so strong! I loved Caro’s fight. I also loved the importance she had in this battle. The book was 50 percent of their final battle with the demons and savages. I so much enjoyed how we got several POVs from other mates/main characters from this series during the battle. The final importance of the swords and stones was pretty cool too. It was page turning as soon as they were all together! I was on the edge of my seat hoping everyone made it to the end. I cried for probably 30 minutes. BKD tore my heart out. We do get a HEA! The ending was gut wrenching but also so good!! Thank you BKD for this amazing world and these wonderful characters!!

It wasn't as great as I was hoping

Pros: it was very action packed from 40%-80% of the book, the ending of the book and series was HEA and there weren't major plot holes

Cons: this book had wayyy to many characters, having read both the awakening series and the alliance series I get why, but that's a lot of books and hard to remember character nuances. I'm also disappointed that this book didn't feature one couple like all of the previous books in both series did. It felt to drawn out and scattered character wise. There was also so much telling instead of showing and people's thoughts feeling like talking heads.

I loved the awakening series, and would even say I love the alliance series (books 1-9) the most. But this one just felt rushed, scattered, and left me wanting. Not my favorite.

But it did conclude the series in a nice way. I just probably won't reread it like I do the others.

Saber and Caro are perfect for each other. They have both experienced trauma and have learned to isolate themselves from others. Caro knows how special Saber she sees how he treats his sisters, and he is slowly opening up to her.

They are doing what they can to survive and working hard to help the alliance. They make a great team, and Saber is a lovable teddy bear with an attitude. I loved the interaction between them, and Saber is the perfect mate for her.

I'm sad to say goodbye to the alliance family and this series's beautiful characters. This series is full of wonderful stories that were an insane, crazy ride, and it kept me on the edge of my seat. This series sucks you in, and you'll be laughing, cheering, and fighting alongside the characters.
An incredible series that I know I'll reread.

Brenda does it once again! What an amazing series this was and ending it with Saber and Caro was epic! I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire book. I gasped, screamed and cried at different times throughout this entire series! There has been lives lost through this series, but this book had me turning the pages faster and faster to see what happens or what happened to loved ones. The undying love in this book, heck the entire series for that matter is amazing. The way they all come together to help each other with the savages and demons throughout the series was nerve wracking! I don’t want to say much about this one, because I don’t want to give anything away. BUT, I will say just read it and you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Brenda keep up the good writing! Fan for life!!!

Bound by Love is the conclusion to The Alliance series, which should be read in order as the series arc builds from book to book.

Saber is such a great MMC. He’s imperfect, flawed in a way that makes your heart hurt for him. He’s definitely an alpha male, but he’s also deeply kind and caring… even if he doesn’t want to admit it. Caro is my favorite kind of FMC, strong and independent, but also fiercely loyal and compassionate. Their story together wasn’t perfect, but that made it all the much more beautiful to watch.

Beyond the great MCs, the story was very well paced, with so much suspense and tension. It was perfectly amped to keep the reader turning the pages, needing to know more. So much action, and all of it done so well that I, frighteningly, felt like I was there, watching it all unfold.

An excellent end to a great series.

I liked that it was very action packed. The ending was still HEA and there weren't any major plot holes in the whole series (spinoff series/story in general).

However, it didn't follow the same format as all of the other books in the series and spin off series,
which focuses on one couple. This one had way to many characters (from past books, I get where they came from) but it just didn't fit the same feeling theme as all the other books. That many character switches and needing to remember their personality from many books prior, pulled me out of the story/book. There was also a lot more telling than showing in this one and just overall felt drawn out. It lacked the organic flow the other previous books had.

I highly recommend all of the other books in this series and it's spin off awakening series, but this one was my least favorite. I am happy the series had a HEA though.

Bound By Love builds on the burgeoning relationship between Caro and Saber, with Saber still denying his growing feelings and any capability to love another.

While their relationship deepens, Caro continues to forge the swords with the powerful stones in a race against time and the growing unrest of the Savages and demons.

The story builds in emotions and tension as a defining battle looms to decide the fate of the world. Characters and couples from other books in the series make their appearance again as the Alliance gathers for the coming fight.

The threads of what has gone before in the series weave together, bringing about so many emotions as Bound By Love reaches it heartfelt conclusion.

Brenda K. Davies brings a reader immediately into the stories she writes. You become a part of the story without being in peril! Bound by Love, book 10, is the final book in the Alliance Series. It took the last two books in the series to write Saber and Caro's story and the end of the Alliance Series. Brenda K. Davies knocked it out of the park, again, for a grand slam this time! The Alliance fights for the lives of the humans, hunters, vamps and all humanity. Your emotions will again ride a wild roller-coaster of emotions hoping in the end that the Alliance will prevail. Also, will Saber and Caro find a loving future, as with the rest of the mates in the Alliance Series.
An absolutely must read! Thank you Brenda K Davies for your amazing talent!.

Pardon me while I cry over the end of a series that spans many books and characters. I bawled like a baby, not going to lie. Feels like my family is leaving and the only way I’ll see them again is to read their stories. Which I shall do. This book lets us see the fulfillment of Saber and Carl’s love story. Plus, we get to see all the people in the series a bit. I absolutely love the story, the way the author ends the series. ( I’m not happy the series is done, but the author gave the story one hell of an ending) I highly recommend this book and the whole series. Brenda lets you see in her heart, see the people she loves and shares with us. And that is truly a beautiful thing.
Thank you Brenda K. Davies for allowing us to share these characters, ummm, no, family, with you.

Spectacular ending to this phenomenal series. I am a mess of emotions right now. I was so excited to read this book and see how Saber and Caros’ story ends yet I am sad to know that the series is over. I really didn’t want to read that last chapter, I milked it waiting as long as I could. This is by far one of my favorite Brenda K Davies’ series. It really pulled the heartstrings. The road to the epic final battle was action packed, suspenseful, engrossing…..I could go on and on.

This book (and the whole series is a must read! It is worthy of a re-read. You won’t regret it. It kept me on the edge of my seat, what a sensational read. A while ago, I heard someone use the term unputdownable and didn’t really grasp what that meant until now. This book is unputdownable for sure!

OMG! Happy, sad, crying, laughter, rage, peace.

You will experience every emotion. I thought I had my favorite character in this series. I was so wrong. Saber by far is my favorite. If you have not read this series it is a must read. People fall in love with all the characters. There's so much I want to say about the story, but I'm afraid to give anything away. I am so sad this series has ended. I will say you will learn a lot about all the characters and a lot about the demons and savages. Brenda has a way of pulling you in to the story. I don't think I have ever experienced every emotion in one book. It took me a while to finish the last few chapters because my vision was too blurry from crying. Thank you Brenda for writing such a great series.

It’s wild to think that this all started with Sera and Liam! I fell in love with Saber in the last book and he continues to hold onto my heart. Reading through Vampire Awakenings and The Alliance has been such a gift. I adore the world that is set up and the intricate details of each character. No two characters are alike! Everything has been building to this final battle. It brought me to tears and making me hold my breath, and I just adore it. It’s so worth it to finish out this series! Anything done by this author continues to be a gem! Getting to “check in” with so many of the other characters made my heart so full!

Absolutely fitting end.

I laughed, I cried. It's the end and I am sad and happy. I have read all of The Awakening and Alliance series. I don't often have anything to say at the end. I usually just make my way onto the next series. I usually will only rate them. I will say this, though. They were well written and edited. The characters came alive off the page. I have loved the banter of most of the more colorful characters. That doesn't lessen any of the others. I just laughed a little bit more with them. I am glad I spent time reading these books, and I am excited to see what else this author will give us.

Wow! What a way to end a series. While I am truly sad this is the last book in the Awakening and Alliance world, this story was a great way to end. I couldn’t put it down. I loved the fight Caro had in her and how she stood up to Saber when she felt like she needed to. I wanted to strangle Saber at times but he definitely redeemed himself once he realized he truly cared for Caro. It was also great getting another glimpse into the other characters from both series. Thank you Brenda for bringing this world to us!

The roller coaster of trials that Caro & Saber go through are rough. I can feel the emotions while reading this book. Super intense. Brenda never disappoints. I love how while reading this book I can in vision myself there part of the action and the love and the heartache. If you are already a fan of this series get ready you won’t be able to put this book down, and if you’re new to this series then grab all 10 books and settle in for the ride of your life and falling in love with all the characters.

Such a bitter sweet moment. I really wanted to find out what happened for Saber and Caro and the rest of the Alliance. Do they survive? Can they defeat the savages and demons? Is it a happy ending?
But I didn’t want it to end.
I also love this series so the final book was savoured.
From beginning to end I was immersed in the story, as is the case with all Brenda’s books.
You will not be disappointed with this read, well your emotions will be spent. I cried. Laughed. Screamed and nearly threw my phone.
Sensational ending to a truly wonderful series.

I was really excited to read about Saber and Caro. I've always wondered what made him him. This book did not disappoint! Through the sad and the happy tears, I couldn't get enough! I am so sad this is the last book! While I understand, I am still sad. I feel like I have been apart of this world for so long and not sure how to deal with not having a new book to read about all of these characters. I just love them all! What an ending to a series. The forging of the swords, claiming the stones, Saber and Caro’s story, Brie and Saber’s journey all tied together so beautifully. The battle was Epic. The Byrnes family being part of this was just the extra touch to bring it all together. I am truly sad it is over. I’m not going to lie, I did cry a few times. I can only feel so much more for Brenda as these stories were her babies for so long. Thank you for sharing them with us.

What can I say about this book other than wow! The action, the twist, the steam.

There were some edge of your seat parts that had be a bit worried, but I took a few deep breaths before continuing. As per usual, Brenda made me feel better about the outcome.

Oh be still my heart.

I wish the series wasn’t over, but alas, all good things must come to an end. Time to start book one again!

Five stars.

This book is literally the best ending to a series that I have read. I am normally disappointed the way most series ends, but she didn't leave anything out. Go ahead and get your tissues ready because it is an emotional Rollercoaster along with the big epic battle! I love that she brings all the pov's of previous characters in for the final wrap up so you really get some closure. I'm sad it's over but I know she will write plenty of other excellent stories!

Perfect Ending!

This world has consumed me! Both series are a constant comfort read to me and will continue to be apart of my normal yearly reading list! Absolutely fell in love with Sera and Liam and then all that followed after! Even when our worlds were crushed with the losses throughout both series it was always a page turner and automatic buy with every book that was released. It’s bittersweet to know this is the end. But what a way to go!
