This stalker x rockstar plot keeps lingering around nothing without any main focus on the storyline. Most part of this book did not work for me. Their sex wasn’t at all appealing so I skipped it. The writing couldn’t hold my attention and their chemistry was simply lacking of connection. I also feel the angst within the plot seemed more like a chaotic compilation than a well-crafted storyline, leaving me feel unsettled. I don’t get why some things happen, and it all feels like they are having the same argument every time....more

Quite sad over this book. I can’t give this higher as I’ve expected this book to turn me on and give me a boner (like fr), but sadly, it didn’t. It’s also not true if I say this isn’t my cuppa bcs I definitely enjoyed this trope any where else, and I enjoyed something weirder than this, and I am also a whore for masked men. Disappointingly, I find this a little too on top of the surface. Don’t get me wrong, I tried to get into it and the kinks were awesome, but the execution wasn’t as good as the kinks.
To me, the dirty talks felt very repetitive and tried so hard to be hot, but ended up being easily skimmed. It was WHORE, WHORE, WHORE but didn’t actually make me feel like a whore reading it. Their interactions were a bit bland, they had sex and suddenly Toby claimed he was obsessed with the MC. I know this is PWP, but jumping like that also don’t help me understand their chemistry. I also didn’t see any sexual chemistry between Jace, Toby and the MC let alone the other guy. Note that sexual chemistry between characters is totaly different than merely hot sex. And this one laaaacked of that particular chemistry. Probably bcs this is a prequel, but still, suck bcs people definitely don’t pick this up just for the series.
When it’s supposed to be a filthy hot book and didn’t even make it to my hot shelves, it’s just plain boring to me. Sucks, coz this seems worked for everyone else though. ...more

They had chemistry, and I love that they communicate so well, but they were walking on eggshells too much and it was making me feel on edge. I’m not really sure about the dead ex trope in this one. I couldn’t enjoy it since the writing made me feel sad for Marco. There’s also some taboo elements as one of the BDSM scenes The third person in the scene on the last few pages was a bit icky, but I haven’t been feeling well lately so I don’t care much about this book. ...more

On the downside, the story felt rushed and all over the place at certain times. Seeing them all together was sweet and refreshing especially Ollie and Blake puppy play scene. I’m not sure if it’s because these stories were too short, but they felt more forced and cramped than a delightful addition to the reading journey of the series....more

Their love for each other comes fast and easy, you can say it’s insta, but it’s all convincing and sweet. The three of them fit so well especially with them being Daddy, Dom and Little. I love that they can compromise easily with each other to satisfy their own needs while enjoying their relationship. I didn’t find the sex hot but that’s just a personal thing, I don’t like sex so much hahahah but I appreciate their balanced dynamic between sexual and romance relationships. I believe a lot of characters in the BDSM community can appreciate romance > sex despite the lifestyle being sex-oriented. I looooooove it sm.
AND THEY USED SAFEWORDS! I LOOOOVE BDSM BOOKS THAT DONT SHY AWAY FROM THAT GIVE ME MOREEEEEEEE
I’d give this a 4 if the drama didn’t bore me so much. I don’t enjoy the family drama in this book. I already have so much going on IRL I don’t need to read another crowded one. It’s not my cuppa so I don’t really feel anything reading it. The climax also felt off and forced. I woulda like this better if it’s focus entirely on the relationship rather than this forced plotline drama climax at the end. The climax was quite repetitive as if the author ran out of idea near the end. And it focused too much on the side characters I was actually fed up hahahahah...more

It has been a while since I read taboo and it feels refreshing lmao. This is about a taboo relationship with father/son, uncle/nephew and cousin/cousin. I enjoyed the tabooness, I kinda wish it had all the depths, but I still love the element of forbidden in this one. It wasn’t focused in detaif if you ask me, but it was there and I liked it. Anyway, this is pure porn with heavy elements of kinky puppy play and bdsm. It was all sexual (something I don’t usually enjoy) but this book was such a turn on. Hot.
I gave this a 3 bcs I wasn’t a fan of the whole drama near the end and the plot was lacking. Only here for the throuple :)

It feels realistic and admirable seeing them together in the lifestyle. Such an interesting take. I enjoy the love development as they shared intimate, romantic and sweet moments. I kept smiling when they had their cute moments together. It was heartwarming ❤️❤️
I like how easy it is to be absorbed into the ageplay scenes they had despite them having an uncertain start. As Kyle sink into his little side, I feeel all kinds of comfort reading what he was feeling. It was nice and refreshing.
I wouldn’t say this is heavy on ageplay because they did have their Kyle/Rand moments; sexually and romantically. Also, Kyle switched easily between big and little. This balanced out their kinky lifestyle. It’s nice that Carly Marie always writes it like that. Great dynamic.
Overall, this was sweet and swoony. Thanks Brooke for bringing this to my attention. I love me some good ageplay ;)
“Yes. I love you. Somewhere around the time you called me Daddy while hiding under the table from flying blocks, I realized I knew I was in way over my head with you. This is all Patience fault. The high of a 5 star always ruin books after it lmao. I wanted to read this because ageplays usually lighten my mood. The storyline was okay, mostly sweet and cute, but it took me so long to finish it and everytime I pick it up, I can’t stay focus. I believe I’d enjoy this better in a different mood. Maybe I should’ve put a large gap between books in this series because the this bdsm/ageplay storyline is quite similar to the one i’ve read before and i couldn’t feel the excitement of the ageplay awakening.
Other than ageplay, the other tropes don’t seem that appealing to me but it was ok I guess. A tad bit higher than mid :) ...more

The touches on ageplay elements were awesome and so much details I adore how it was written. I love Mylo the most, his character is sweet and really captivating. He reminds me a lot of Izzy, but more mature. He’s one of the MCs that might stuck with me for a while; sweet, precious, vulnerable, but not at all fragile.
I didn’t like the constant reminder of Landau’s past relationships and the lack of romantic scenes between the two. Some things also get a little repetitive despite the amount of love I felt reading it. They communicate so well and they really get to know each other (in detail), but the daddy/little scene is lacking. Most of the time they were in the scene, I didn’t feel like reading one. Mylo didn’t feel like a little sometimes. More like a middle if you ask me.

This was just as amazing as book #1 and I really am enjoying this series so far. I love how diverse these books are and this one has a trans MC!!! Although this wasn’t as giddy as Garbage I really adore the writing; it was enjoyable, funny and entertaining at best. It was very difficult to put down.
Oliver and Ben’s love is not your typical romance. Oliver is a male AI that doesn’t have a body so they both had to navigate their romance in unconventional ways. Despite all that, Ben consistently supported Oliver throughout. If that’s not pure love then idk what is. It was emotional reading Oliver’s longing to physically touching Ben and the dreams of having a body. And every time Oliver wanted to try something different, Ben followed and supported him. It was wholesome. They got very creative trying things together near the end. I adore them so much.
I love Oliver’s body discovery journey and them understanding each other while learning each other’s bodies ...more
